The ultimate shoe trends for SS19

The ultimate shoe trends for SS19

There’s been a whisper of spring in the air and I couldn’t be more hyped about pastel colours, lighter fabrics, transparent linings and floral patterns. The best bit? Spring’s shoe debut. Once March is upon us, we’re going to see SS19’s trends-in-the-making, everywhere. Pinch me.

This season, shoe trends are modern chic, with an unexpected twist. Designers such as Carolina Herrera and Tibi showcased drool-worthy styles in faint green hues, while Rejina Pyo replaced skyscraper platforms with a sophisticated but simple barely-there heel. For a everyday look, pair yours with cropped jeans. I’m also psyched about Isabel Marant’s old-Hollywood style revival of undeniably cool cowgirl boots. And then there is Pyer Moss and Simone Rocha’s sheer shoes. Try a pair on your next date-night, styled with skinny jeans or a mid-length dress.

Last on my lust-list is feathery shoes. Some of you might be hesitant, but I advise styling this trend with a mid-length dress for a fresh spring look. Old-man sandals edged themselves onto the catwalks. If you’re brave enough, go with a classic sandal for a low-key vibe that’s super comfy or wear monogrammed Fendi’s for a super luxe version of the trend.

From transparent sandals and brightly coloured mules, transition from winter into spring effortlessly with spring’s ultimate shoe trends you need to know about, now.
