Five incredible new beauty brands have landed in Ireland

Beauty fans! Five incredible new beauty brands have landed on our shores. Here’s your cheat-sheet on what to know…

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, €14

Fresh

Cult brand Fresh has come to Ireland via Space NK on Grafton Street and in Belfast. “What is special about Fresh,” Caglar Odabasi, Sales and Education Manager at Fresh told us, “ is that sensorial journey the products are going to offer you, and the effective result-driven usage. At Fresh, we say we deliver products that perform with the experiences that transform.” Fresh founders Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg started the brand with just a bar of soap that was instantly successful. Their first foray into skincare was inspired by a big buzz 90’s trend: soy. Fresh became the first company to create a soy cleanser, which is still their number one best-selling product globally. If you pick up one product, make it the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, €14, formulated with soy proteins, cucumber extract and rosewater, which gently removes all make-up including stubborn mascara while balancing moisture, maintaining the skin’s elasticity, calming irritation and soothing, toning and brightening. It’s gentle on the skin, suitable for all skin types and smells like cucumbers.

Florence by Mills

At just 15 years old, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown might be the world’s youngest beauty entrepreneur. Having had access to every high-end brand, she decided to create her brand Florence by Mills (named after her grandmother, Florence) to speak to a younger audience who wanted easy to use, cruelty-free products for hormonal, teenage skin. “There was a white space in the market for young people, and I felt like I couldn’t put anything on my face,” she told Glamour. “Every person has their own set of challenges, so I wanted to create something for everyone that’s fun to use, affordable, and really is just genuinely good for you.” Enter Florence by Mills, available in Ireland from Boots and on Boots.ie, a selection of effective skincare including a ‘Dreamy Dew Moisturiser’ and light coverage and colourful make-up.

Stories by Eliza Grace Stories No.01, €140

Stories by Eliza Grace

STORIES by Eliza Grace is an Irish, unisex fragrance range, created by Tonya Kidd-Beggs to tell a story from mislaid memories, childhood dreams, imaginary landscapes and invisible soundtracks. Crafted using time-honoured traditional methods and only the finest raw materials from all over the world, there are two unisex and universal fragrances STORIES No.01 and STORIES No.02, which remain purposefully nameless as the scents speak for themselves, and each fragrance narrates its own unique story and aims to inspire a similar evocative power in those who wear it. This beautiful brand is available in Harvey Nichols Dundrum.

Westman Atelier Vital Skin Foundation Stick, €72

Westman Atelier

Make-up artist Gucci Westman has been a leading make-up artist for over two decades, in demand with celebrities and fashion and beauty brands. If you don’t know her brand, Westman Atelier, I am certain her luxurious curated collection of consciously-crafted clean beauty essentials have graced your social media at some point. Adored for it’s plant-based formulations and skincare benefits, her make-up brand counts Victoria Beckham, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Anniston amongst its fan club. Westman Atelier has made it’s way to Ireland via the glorious Marvel Room at Brown Thomas, where you can buy the Westman Atelier artisan brush collection, the plant-powered Eye Love You Mascara and Le Box – The GP Edition, a custom-edit for clean beauty fans who want glowing skin, inspired by Gwyneth Paltrow, including the Super Loaded Tinted Highlight in Peau de Soleil, Baby Cheeks Blush in Petal, and Lit Up Highlight Stick.

Grown Alchemist Limited Edition Hand Cream Tri0, €48

Grown Alchemist

The beautifully packaged, modern meets apothecary brand Grown Alchemist is the brand you need in your fancy bathroom. An Australian skincare brand created with the best organic ingredients by serious chemistry nerds, Grown Alchemist has also come to Ireland via the Marvel Room at Brown Thomas. We’ve become particularly enamoured by the Hand Cream Trio, in pastel and black paintbox tubes, but pretty much all their sets would make for a beautiful Christmas gift.
